Olive and Rufus began with a simple idea: to create responsibly made bags designed for everyday life — practical, beautifully crafted, and built to last.

From the beginning, we wanted to prove that thoughtful design and sustainability could go hand in hand. That's why every Olive and Rufus bag is made using at least 85% certified Ocean Bound Plastic — recycled plastic collected from areas at risk of polluting our oceans before it has the chance to get there. By transforming this material into durable, high-quality fabrics, we're helping give waste a second life while creating products made to be used every day.

Of course, sustainability means little if a product isn't built to last. Every detail is carefully considered, from padded laptop compartments to thoughtfully placed pockets, creating bags that are comfortable, practical, and ready for everything from daily commutes to weekends away.

Our designs have always been shaped by real life. Early prototypes were tested at home by our young children who, despite the bags being a little oversized for them, put them through more wear and tear than we ever could.
